～ Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization Technique ～
Great News for Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, PhysicalTherapy Assistants, Massage Therapists, Occupational Therapists and persons working to enhance physical and athletic performance. A Functional Movement application of Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization is available in the U.S.A.! AND… it is affordable!!! Técnica Gavilán detects, treats and releases soft tissue restrictions, “scar tissue” in multiple planes of functional movements. The specificity involved with Técnica Gavilán will decrease musculoskeletal pain, increase strength, increase range of motion & flexibility and enhance performance.
What is Técnica Gavilán ?
Técnica Gavilán, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), involves 3 surgical grade stainless steel instruments used to detect and release soft tissue restrictions. These unique instruments are asymmetric concave, convex, double edged with varying diameters to conform to the human body. Gary Lang’s three dimensional method of application releases hard to detect restrictions improving greater movement, decreased pain with and increase in muscular strength. Inspired by the need for an affordable treatment to release soft tissue restrictions and enhance physical performance, Gary Lang began his techniques in Guadalajara, Mexico. Currently, the World Champion San Francisco Giants major league baseball team endorses Técnica Gavilán. Others utilizing Técnica Gavilán include: San Jose Earth Quakes, Houston Dynamo, Stanford University, San Jose State University, Santa Clara University, University of California, Berkeley, Hamamatsu University, Sendai University, Kanagawa University, Tokai University, Foothill College, Ohlone College, Sutter Community Hospitals, Chiropractors, Occupational Therapists, Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapists, Massage Therapists in the United States, Europe and Asia
